Orlando International. We confirm how you reach the cars and your counter’s card, deposit and age rules before you fly — so you land, collect, and drive.
What we check before you book
Because the headline rate isn’t what strands people at the desk — the fine print is.
Where you pick up: on-airport — the counters and cars are right in the terminal garages, so there is no shuttle at all.
Getting to the cars
Collect from the counters on the ground-transportation level; the cars are in the attached garages, with the A-side and B-side matching your terminal. It is one of the most convenient major-airport pick-ups in the country — no bus, no off-site centre.
What Orlando counters tend to ask for
Orlando handles enormous tourist volume and is relatively debit-friendly, but theme-park season brings long queues and, for larger SUVs and vans, credit-card holds. We confirm your branch’s rule and the deposit range so the family car isn’t a surprise at the desk.
Driving out: Central Florida runs on tolls
The 417, 429 and 408 are cashless toll roads and you will use them. Confirm whether your rental includes a toll transponder or an admin fee per use — park-hopping families rack these up. I-4 through the tourist corridor is congested for most of the day.
When to pick up
Weekend mornings and school-holiday changeovers are the worst counter queues. A midweek daytime pick-up is smoothest.
